Welcome to Lia.English!

I have been living in Europe for seven years now. I have a master's degree in energy engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden and the University of Leuven in Belgium. I love language learning and teaching, and have five years of rich experience in one-on-one English teaching. My students range from fifth graders to working professionals, and I have taught more than 100 people. I focus on improving students' English proficiency and writing skills, and cultivate their sense of language and habit of English expression through practical application and interactive learning. I hope that students will eventually be able to use English freely and express themselves more accurately.

The conversation language is: English/ Chinese/ Taiwanese/ Italian.

Teaching philosophy

• Learner-centered: The teaching method is adjusted according to individual needs. The course can be taught entirely in English or with Chinese as an aid as needed.

• Emphasis on practicality: daily conversations, cultural discussions, current affairs discussions, topic debates and real-life situation simulations to improve English application skills. Combined with long-term living experience in Europe, it helps students experience international communication modes and understand European humor and culture.

• Self-compiled teaching materials: Combined with videos to train listening skills, providing auxiliary content and vocabulary, so that students can use English naturally in their daily lives.

• Emphasis on feedback and interaction: Encourage students to actively express themselves and ask questions to ensure learning effectiveness.
